Help in the Garden began from a desire to help people who love their outdoor spaces, but needed help to maintain them.
I began my professional career in science and research, and continue to use science as the lens through which I see the world. My interest in horticulture began after becoming a mom and seeing how nature positively impacted me and my family. Plus, plants are cool.​
Through courses/lectures by the Universities of Manitoba and Saskatchewan, my experience in working at a local garden centre, and though reading and researching, I strive to provide information and services that will improve the health and beauty of your garden and soil, while reducing the effort needed to maintain it.​
